In 2004, President Barack Obama delivered a career defining speech, the Audacity of Hope affirming “It is that fundamental belief –I am my brother’s keeper. I am my sister’s keeper — that makes this country work.” It is in this spirit that NASP Detroit would like to thank all of our golf sponsors, private donors, and giving angels who once again elevated the promise of higher education to our Metro Detroit scholars. It is because of your support that NASP Detroit successfully raised over $50,000.00, exceeding our 2021 capital goal, that will allow us to award scholarships to Metro Detroit students.

This year marked our 15^th year of providing scholarships to Metro Detroit’s students who decided to embark on an educational journey by enrolling in two-year, four-year, or skilled trades programs. NASP Detroit is committed to the meaning of the number 15; to give love, protection, and compassion, to feel responsible for others. We were able to do this with your help in spite of the continued insurmountable obstacles as COVID-19 still rages on across the world.
